CDC’s Procurement and Grants Office has published a funding opportunity announcement entitled, “Expand and Strengthen Laboratory Technical Assistance and Quality Assurance Services in the Republic of Zimbabwe Under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).” Approximately $1,600,000 will be available in fiscal year 2010 to fund 1 award. The purpose of this program is to strengthen the management of laboratory testing, diagnostic testing, proficiency testing and quality assurance services in support of HIV/AIDS prevention, surveillance, care and treatment programs in the Republic of Zimbabwe.
