Description

USFWS intends to award the Sacramento Region Water Forum (Water Forum) a single source cooperative agreement in accordance with Section 3407(e) of the Central Valley Project Improvement Act (CVPIA). USFWS and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) have been collaborating with the Water Forum to restore spawning and rearing habitat for Central Valley fall-run Chinook salmon and Central Valley steelhead on the lower American River. This work has been funded by CVPIA's section 3406(b)(13) spawning gravel program. To view the Notice of Intent, click on the “Application” tab on the right side near the top of this page.
