Description

The Stockton Office of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Anadromous Fish Restoration Program (AFRP), will be loaning two rotary screw traps (one-5 foot trap and one 8-foot trap) to the Merced Irrigation District (MID) to operate for the purpose of assessing juvenile migration of Chinook salmon, steelhead, and other fish species in the Merced River downstream of the primary spawning reaches. The period of the award, is up to 5 years, i.e. until 2015. Citation of 505 DM 2.14 B (2)Continuation of an activity presently being funded, (3) Legislative intent and,(4)Unique qualifications (technical expertise).
