Description

The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Mid-Pacific Region, intends to award a sole source for Grant Agreement to Nevada Tahoe Conservation District under the authority of CFDA 15.508, Public Law 108-7, Title II, Energy and Water Development Appropriations Act, 2003, Section 207 for the following program: Rosewood Creek Area A Restoration Project. Reclamation proposes to provide financial assistance to Finalize 90% engineering designs and secure appropriate permits, including those from TRPA, Army Corps of Engineers, and Nevada Department of Environmental Protection; Prepare project specifications; prepare and stamp final design plans; Prepare bid documents, advertise, process bids, and select contractor; Construct new channel; Revegetate and season new stream channel; Introduce flow into new stream channel; Fill old stream channel; Re-vegetate area around old stream channel; Monitor water quality parameters. Period of Performance is from the date of award to December 31, 2014. Estimate award date: on or about July 25, 2010. Estimate award amount: $2,000,000.00. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM2 paragrah 2.14(B)(3) LEGISLATIVE INTENT is solely within the discretion of the Government.
