Purpose of Program: The purpose of this program is to enhance the quality and validity of assessment instruments and systems used by States for measuring the achievement of all students. The grant funds may be used for the development of new assessment products or procedures, such as innovative test formats, empirical analysis of variations in test formats or procedures, or statistical models useful for combining data from multiple measures, or charting student progress over time. Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) Number: 84.368A.
