Description
The Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) will award a cooperative agreement that will support the establishment and maintenance of an MCH Life Course Health Development Research Network. The Network will advance public health research on the epidemiology, social determinants, and on the origins and impacts of health disparities, from a life course perspective. A cooperative agreement provides Federal funding for a project in which the Federal Program works in partnership with the cooperative agreement recipient. Substantial MCHB scientific and/or programmatic involvement with the awardee is anticipated during the performance of the project and will be clearly outlined in the application guidance.
