Description
BLM is providing funding to support programs at the Discovery Gateway Children¿s Museum. The funding will be used to augment and enhance existing programs at the Museum, in addition, the BLM and the Museum will collaborate on interpretive exhibits that will help visitors develop an appreciation for rock art and a sense of respect for cultural sites, and also to develop an understanding and appreciation for Utah¿s public land and the need to protect and preserve cultural resources. Under this partnership, Utah archeologists will present programs at the Museum which enhance the messages about cultural sites as well as discuss career opportunities available through the Department of the Interior and BLM.
