White River Valley Invasive Weeds SNPLMA Project with TCW

Description
To control weed infestations on public lands, cooperatively write a restoration plan, and facilitate weed education and outreach that benefits the White River CWMA. This will promote watershed health, increase the effectiveness of weed treatments on public and private lands, and facilitate an environment of cooperation between private landowners, TCW, and the BLM. This project is issued as a Notice of Intent per the September 4, 2009, Decision signed by the Secretary of the Interior authorizing the expenditure of funding from the SNPLMA special account for Eastern Nevada Landscape Restoration Projects (ENLRP) totaling $1,931,721.00, of which $195,500 is awarded to the Tri-County Weed Control Project (TCW) for implementation of the project nomination White River Valley Invasive Weeds: Inventory Treatment, Restoration, and Education.
