Description
The USGS, Pacific Northwest Aquatic Monitoring Partnership (PNAMP), is offering a funding opportunity to a Partner within the Cooperative Ecosystems Studies Unit that has the ability to provide research in web delivery for biological and natural resources information in a variety of thematic and geographic areas at varying scales. Information will need to be accessible via the PNAMP website at http://www.pnamp.org and PNAMP’s Monitoring Methods website at http://www.monitoringmethods.org; and available to the natural resource research and management communities, their partners, other stakeholders, and the public. Information should be organized and presented in such a way that allows ease of use and facilitates information discovery. PNAMP is specifically looking for collaborative opportunities with a CESU Partner to increase the availability and usefulness of natural resources monitoring information available on its website. Topics might include, but are not limited to aquatic resource monitoring, threatened and endangered species, invasive species, climate change, and data management. For more information, please visit www.pnamp.org and www.monitoringmethods.org. In addition, PNAMP is looking for ways to connect with other similar websites to develop a network of available information (see https://salmonmonitoringadvisor.org/; http://odfwrecoverytracker.org/; http://www.tapsource.org/) PNAMP will be a full participant with the CESU Partner. PNAMP and CESU participants will work closely together to identify relevant biological data and information, review products and web based systems, and ensure the information reaches PNAMP Partners as well as professionals in other federal and state agencies, educators, and ultimately the public.
