Description
The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a cooperative agreement to the California Department of Water Resources (DWR), under the authority of catalog for domestic assistance (CFDA) 15.512, Central Valley Project Improvement Act, Public Law 102-575, Section 3406(b)(1). Estimated amount: $497,808.25. Reclamation proposes to provide financial assistance for the pre-award, post-award, and post construction phases of construction contracts (CC) for the Battle Creek Salmon and Steelhead Restoration Project. The required engineering and technical support services will be provided by DWR, and will be as defined by the tasks described in the statement of work (SOW). The SOW is for engineering and technical support services associated with the fish screen and ladder components (and associated features) for Phase 1A of the project consisting of North Battle Creek Feeder Diversion Dam and the Eagle Canyon Canal Diversion Dam project sites. (Refer to the Notice of Intent to Award Announcement No. R10AS20030 for additional information.) A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2.14(B)(2) & (4) is solely within the discretion of the Government.
