Description

For this announcement of Intent of Award discretionary financial assistance to single sources without competition beginning FY 2010 for the duration of the project, the justification for award is through the Department of the Interior’s 505 DM 2.14 (4) Unique Qualifications . The US Fish and Wildlife Service and the University of Guam are working together, in cooperation with the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, to conduct marine resource assessments on the island of Pagan to assist Federal and Territorial agencies to better manage the trust resources, provide data on the coral marine resources that may be used for National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation. This cooperative agreement will enable the University of Guam to conduct marine source inventories within the proposed project area for the development of an Environmental Impact Statement.
