Purpose of Program: The AANAPISI program provides grants to eligible institutions of higher education (IHEs) to enable them to improve their academic quality, increase their self sufficiency, and strengthen their capacity to make a substantial contribution to the higher education resources of the Nation. At the time of application, IHEs applying for funds under the AANAPISI program must have an enrollment of undergraduate students that is at least 10 percent Asian American or Native American Pacific Islander. Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) Number: 84.031L. Applications for grants under the AANAPISI program CFDA Number 84.031L--must be submitted electronically using e-Application, accessible through the Department's e-Grants Web site at: http://e-grants.ed.gov. While completing your electronic application, you will be entering data online that will be saved into a database. You may not e-mail an electronic copy of a grant application to us.
