2011 REPP Concept of Operations for Models to Support Regional Coastal Ecosystem Management

Description
National Centers for Coastal Ocean Centers (NCCOS)/Center for Sponsored Coastal Ocean Research (CSCOR) is soliciting proposals for a project of 2 years in duration to develop a concept of operations for scenario-type forecasts used for ecosystem-based management of coastal ecosystems. Note that for this opportunity, the term coastal includes Great Lakes systems. Funding is contingent upon the availability of Fiscal Year 2011 appropriations. It is anticipated that final recommendations for funding under this announcement will be made by early Calendar Year 2011, and that any project funded under this announcement will have an August 1, 2011 start date. One project is expected to be supported for 2 years, with an annual budget less than $250K.
