Description

Pursuant to Subsections 2192(a) and 2192(b) of Title 10, United States Code, Deputy Secretary of Defense Memorandum for Secretaries of the Military Departments of 28 September 2005, and Secretary of the Navy Memorandum for Distribution of 24 April 2009, and Class Determinations and Findings D&F #:10-65 of 19 July 2010, NAWCAD-Patuxent River, MD is providing funding to schools and school systems with education partnership agreements in place with the NAWCAD for the purpose of supporting the K-12 STEM Education Program. The intended uses of the funds to support the STEM Education Program are as follows: 1. STEM related field trips to Patuxent River. 2. Teacher stipends to attend STEM related education programs. 3. FIRST Robotics participation. 4. Equipment and other support material for STEM-related activities.
