A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD is issued by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to Ducks Unlimited according to 505 DM 2.14 B(4)(see attached NOI). No competition is expected. The purpose of this project is to support conservation activities of the Pacific Coast Joint Venture (PCJV). The objective is to conduct activities which support conservation planning, project design, implementation, outreach, research, evaluation, and assessments as outlined in the PCJV business model. Ducks Unlimited is uniquely qualified to administer the joint venture because they have been a long-term member of the Management Board, have a history of providing the highest levels of oversight and accountability, and have been the only member of the PCJV organization offering this service.
