Description

The purpose of this laboratory reporting supplement to the HIV surveillance program cooperative agreement is to enable state and local health departments to improve the reporting of HIV laboratory data with special emphasis on CD4 and VL test results from private and public laboratories to state and local health departments and CDC. This program addresses the “Healthy People 2010” focus area for HIV: http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/about/otheract/hpdata2010/focusareas/fa13-hiv.htm
