Description
The Wildland-Urban Interface Community Assistance program provides funding to assist communities in reducing risk of fire in the wildland-urban interface in the vicinity of lands managed by the DOI by conducting hazardous fuel treatments, community wildfire protection planning and/or prevention, mitigation and education programs.

- Public and State controlled institutions of higher education
- Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized)
