Description

The Rare Plant Treasure Hunt teams botanists with citizen scientist volunteers to search for new and historic populations of rare and sensitive plant species throughout lands managed by BLM in southern or northern California. Species that may be impacted by renewable energy projects will be targeted first. Using teams of volunteers, trained experienced botanists will collect population information from federally listed TandE and sensitive plant species.
