Pre-Travel Health: Improving and Expanding the Implementation of Counseling and Surveillance of International Travelers
ArchivedCenters for Disease Control and Prevention - ERA
Description
The purpose of this FOA is to continue the support of an active, nationwide network of clinics providing pre-travel health services to persons with travel destinations outside the United States, including those travelers at high risk for illness or injury while on travel. These clinics are utilizing a novel, electronic, web-based pre-travel health consultation system that aids the health care provider in providing essential recommendations during the pre-travel medical encounter. In addition, during the pre-travel visit, this system anonymously collects specific data exclusively on travelers visiting international destinations.
