CDC’s Procurement and Grants Office has published a funding opportunity announcement entitled, “Emerging Infections Sentinel Network (EISN) Research.” Approximately $407,000 will be available in fiscal year 2011 to fund 1 award. The purpose of this RFA is to provide a funding mechanism for EISN research activities as defined in 45 CFR 46 specifically within a network of EDs.
