Description

NRCS is announcing availability of Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG) to stimulate the development and adoption of innovation conservation approaches and technologies within the State of Virginia. Funds will be awarded through a two-phase statewide competitive grants process which will include a pre-proposal for all applications, and a full application package only for competitively selected pre-proposal applicants, pursuant to notification by NRCS/VA.

  • County governments
  • City or township governments
  • Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized)
  • Nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status (other than higher education)
  • Nonprofits without 501(c)(3) status (other than higher education)
  • Individuals
  • For-profit organizations other than small businesses
