Description
The purpose of this announcement is to strengthen Zambia’s capacity to expand activities in the program areas of HIV Care, Support and Treatment by strengthening laboratory services and External Quality Assurance (EQA) activities. More specifically, this announcement seeks to increase the local capacity and sustainability of the response to the HIV and AIDS crisis in Zambia by engaging local indigenous partners to provide HIV/AIDS Prevention, Care, Support and Treatment services that were initiated in 2004 under with PEPFAR-funded clinical services and Antiretroviral Treatment program. Additionally, this announcement aims to promote the transition of US government-funded health programs to host country ownership for improved sustainability.
