Goal 1: Support the attendance of state officials for events during National Invasive Species Awareness Week 2011, February 28 through March 4, 2011, in Washington, DC.Outcomes: Increased coordination between federal and state invasive species experts. Increased attendance by state officials at important invasive species meetings and events.Budget: 10,000Goal 2: Support AFWA’s role in coordinating activities between the FWS and the state agencies on energy development and invasive species issues.Outcomes: Increased coordination between the states and the FWS on invasive species and Lacey Act issues. Increased coordination between the states and FWS on energy development issues, including a focus on wind energy development and its impacts on bird species.Budget: 20,000
