Description

The purpose of this program is to strengthen the human resource capacity in Zambia. This program seeks to provide quality care for HIV/AIDS through the development of a cadre of local experts in HIV/AIDS that would function as leaders in the provision of expert care for advanced and complex HIV patients and mentors for HIV care providers. In addition, this program will increase capacity for HIV/AIDS training in training institutions. Developing this capacity locally will contribute to the goals of increased local government ownership, leadership and management of the response to HIV/AIDS that are embodied in PEPFAR II.
