Description

These will be accomplished in two selected oblast-level regions through evaluation and improvement of provider-initiated HIV testing and counseling among TB patients and assuring links to HIV care and treatment, as well as strengthening of TB surveillance system to include HIV variables (as per WHO guidelines) in selected regions; improving intensified TB case finding among people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) accessing care in selected regions and assuring linkages to TB diagnostics and treatment; and capacity building and implementation of TB infection control best practices in institutions, including out-patient settings, and providing care and treatment to PLWHA.
