Description
The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a grant agreement to Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe, under the authority of catalog for domestic assistance (CFDA) 15.508, Public Law 107 171: Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002 (Farm Bill) enacted 5/13/02, amended 6/18/08 and 10/28/09 and Public Law 108-7, Omnibus Appropriations Bill enacted 2/20/03. Estimated amount: $17,200,000.00. Reclamation plans to provide to the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe to implement a program to increase inflows to Pyramid Lake, Nevada. (Refer to the Notice of Intent to Award Announcement No. R11AS20010 for additional information) A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2.14(B)(4) is solely within the discretion of the Government.
