Description

This agreement is being implemented and is a continuation of a previous agreement in order to foster cooperation between the Service and the San Carlos Apache Tribe (Tribe) in Mexican wolf monitoring and management (which includes removal of wolves as set forth in the Mexican wolf final rule (63 Fed. Reg. 1752, January 12, 1998)). The public benefits from the objective of this agreement, which is to provide coordination, communication, and positive working relationships with the Tribe to complete this project to the satisfaction of both parties.
