Description

In support of the North Pacific Landscape Conservation Cooperative (NPLCC), the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Pacific Region is requesting project proposals for science and information that address one or more of the following elements: 1) Data integration processes that include or incorporate the coordination, recovery, compilation, synthesis, or archiving of relevant data for landscape-scale conservation analysis; 2) Improve availability of, and analytical interfaces to, geospatial and baseline data fundamental to understanding climate change effects on habitats and ecosystems in the geographic area of the NPLCC; 3) Identify projected future biodiversity hotspots and connectivity needs; 4) Provide information fundamental to understanding climate change effects on species assemblages, habitats and ecosystems in the NPLCC that supports effective conservation delivery; and 5) Apply downscaled climate change model information to vulnerability assessments of priority ecological or landscape resources.
