Description

The purpose of the program is to support innovative partnerships and collaborations that advance public health surveillance. This program aims to improve data access and quality in order to accelerate effective public health decision-making and program planning. In addition this program will foster collaboration among various stakeholders, including, non-profits, states, territories and tribes, it will focus on leveraging investments in advancing the use of healthcare information resources for public health applications, as well as advance broader uses of health and risk factor data. This will result in more robust surveillance solutions that solve common problems, are easily transferable across states, and advance current CDC and HHS priorities.
