A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD is issued by the U.S. Fish and wildlife Service "the Service" to the Wolftree Inc. �Wolftree� according to 505 DM 2.14 (4)(refer to the attached NOI justification located in the Full Announcement section of this opportunity). NO COMPETITION IS EXPECTED - PLEASE DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY. The purpose of this agreement is to promote the Secretary of the Interior�s Youth and the Great Outdoors initiative and the Service�s Connecting People With Nature Priority. The objective is to provide funding and technical assistance to Wolftree to support continued and expanded implementation of its Watershed Science Education Program (WSEP) and Project-Based Learning activities in Oregon and Southwest Washington. The Service and Wolftree have a mutual interest in increasing the scientific and geographic literacy of youth populations in the Pacific Northwest, and in providing opportunities to educate, engage, and train young adults with an aptitude and interest in working in natural resource conservation positions. Substantial involvement on the part of the Service is anticipated (refer to 505 DM 2.9 B.)
