Description

The Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Administration on Children, Youth and Families (ACYF), Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB) announces the solicitation of applications for fourawards for cooperative agreementsunder the Family Violence Prevention and Services Discretionary Grants program to support Special Issue Resources Centers (SIRCs). The SIRCs will focus on enhancing domestic violence intervention and prevention within at least one of the following areas: criminal and civil justice systems; child protective services and child custody; health care systems; or mental health systems.These resourcecenters arepart of a networkof National and Special Issue Resource Centers providing leadership and support to the existing programs serving victims of domestic violence and their children.The original funding opportunity (FOA) announcing the availability of awards for National and Special Issue Resource Centers (HHS-2011-ACF-ACYF-EV-0188) has been cancelled. The original FOA is replaced by four FOAs that solicit applications for the four types of centers separately.
