Description
The basic goal of the proposed research is to improve the knowledge base used to inform planned restoration activities in the Middle Applegate Watershed. The findings have potential application to the dry mixed-conifer forests throughout southern Oregon. This project will serve to further the efforts which are currently underway to restore forested landscapes in the Middle Applegate Watershed of southwestern Oregon to meet current ecological needs as well as provide resilience in the face of current and future climate change.
