Peer Review of Groundwater Models used in California's Central Valley

Description
The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a grant agreement to the California Water and Environmental Modeling Forum (CWEMF), under the authority of catalog for domestic assistance (CFDA) 15.507, Sustain and Manage America's Resources for Tomorrow. Estimated amount: $20,000.00. Reclamation proposes to fund the CWEMF Peer Review to perform an independent review and assessment of the capabilities of the Integrated Water and Flow Model (IWFM), MODFLOW, and HydroGeoSphere (HGS) models. This review shall be performed by one or more recognized experts in the development and application of groundwater models. (Refer to the Notice of Intent to Award Announcement No. R11AS20012 for additional information) A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2.14(B)(4) is solely within the discretion of the Government.
