Description
Funding is available through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) California Landscape Conservation Cooperative (CA LCC) to complete work as identified in the CA LCC 2011 program priorities. Specifically, the California Academy of Sciences will conduct a systematic analysis of the issue of uncertainty in modeling the future distributions of California endemic plant species and land birds which can quide decisions about monitoring, restoration,acquisition, infrastructure, etc., in relation to climate change. The USFSW intends to award California Academy of Sciences a single source agreement because of the unique qualificaiton sof the staff with the technical expertise to conduct this analysis. The anticipated project start date will be July 2011 with an expected completion date of December 2012.
